Just Another Friday Night - NOT I thought it was just another Friday Night, But to my surprise it was so much more... It's was in all the "little" things, That made the night so "grand"... It doesn't happen often that, When I drive into our driveway... That you are already home, You were there! Instead of going to the game, To watch the winning team... We went to see my favorite team, Lose AGAIN... You bought a "diet coke", Instead of "coke" for us to share... You fed me messy nachos, And smiled as you wiped the cheese off my chin... When your cell phone rang, You turned it off and didn't answer it... After the game we visited with my friends, And you drank beer and laughed at their jokes... While on the drive home, Our spirits anticipate for our moment. And I thought it was just another Friday night. NOT! |
