In another life There is no time today to tell you what will happen tomorrow and even if i could, would you believe me? or would you instead hold on to the firm belief that we must live for today Living for today, holds a lot of pressure on fate But there are times when I'm so impatient that i want to know what Fate has in store for me, for us, for our future Don't worry, in another life everything that has been done wrong will pass, and there will be another chance What would have happened if you hadn't entered my life? I would be cold, blue, full of sorrow You opened my eyes to a whole new world, and for that I am eternally grateful But why did you have to go away? In another life, be it that we are cats, dolphins, dragonflys, or here's a stretch: ladybugs We will connect to one another because our souls ache so much now they ache to reunite us, to connect us like we once were I find no solace in food, exercise, shopping or sleep You have broken my shell, and no one can or ever will replace you I am doomed to wander this earth in search of you for the remainder of my days Will you do the same? I pray that you don't stay gone from my heart longer than you have to Find a way back: be it by bus, airplane, or by car Come quickly, my tears are falling, my heart is breaking, and my mind is slipping You are the one I long to protect me from this life's ills we were meant to be, how many lives have we lived together Maybe this life will be the one in which the ending will be blissful Where our souls can finally attain peace In this life, we loved each other, more than most people ever see in a lifetime we cared for each other, and we instantly connected on all levels If our souls don't connect in this life, in another life, we will finally be reunited when we reunite, there will be no speaking, just direct eye contact in your eyes i can see your soul, you love so deep for me that it scares me at first it's overwhelming like a wave, but you just breathe in and take all that you can handle Be patient, in another life, our problems will come to a head I'm sorry I didn't take care of them in this life But if given a second chance, there's no doubt that what will more than likely happen in a second life, could have been completed in this life Does this make you sad? To think, that we will have to live this life out, before our other life takes shape Hold firm to the belief that I'm out there waiting for you I'll be around the corner you least expect, in another life |
