Green is our favorite color, the color of grass the color of most of the shirts I've bought you and green is the color most fitting to my personality when I can't be around you I've never been this jealous before There are girls around you, left and right up and down and deep in my heart, I know you don't look You are so friendly and these chicks aren't attractive, yet they hold onto the attention you give them So, I sit and wonder what you really think and then what they are imagining when they think of spending alone time with you Alone time for us consists of kisses, hugs, and long stares But, the green eyed monster questions what you do with these other girls Does your hand ever leave your side Or is a hug all that they get from you You tell me that only I have the power to send you over the edge I hope and pray this is true because I know that you are the only one for me, and I should know it for you, too but I can't help but turn green with envy sometimes I want to tell these girls to back off But, then i remember that I'm not the jealous type I'm usually not, it's just that you've mixed me and shook me more than cake mix and I don't know which way is up anymore These girls have some sort of sick fascination with you and I want to be the one to tell them that you're all mine but that wouldn't be right plus...green doesn't go well with my complexion |
