Wanting to be released, from the gates that hold me back. Scared of the things I have seen. In your eyes I am a shadow, cast into the darkness ahead. Spiraling into a world where life is uncertain, journeys unknown. My senses grow hazy and dim with my eyes staring into yours. And onward we travel up steep jagged mountains over sharp cliffs into the plush green valley below. Destinations unclear, you hand grasping mine, Together in eternity. |
