Sometimes friends appear in the most unlikely places our angels who drop in to rescue us at the most unlikely time when we need them most that's what you've been to me you've understood far more than anyone else could you've been patient, kind, and most of all giving to someone who you owed nothing to you've talked me down from the ledge of life and allowed me to stand firm and strong with the idea that the future will be brighter because you knew it better than anyone you've been through what i've been through but you don't take advantage like the others you know what it's like and you've been an unusual friend to me through all the phone calls you've been pleasant soothed my soul how corny does that sound? there's nothing that i could ever do to repay you for your generosity you will never be able to realize how special your insight has been how your accuracy has made me happy and you've shared your gift from god with me thanks for being my friend who came to me through unusual circumstances for sharing the brightness of the future with me for allowing me to smile when i felt like crying and making me want to live when i felt like dying i owe it all to you, my unusual friend whom i hope to meet one day the future only gets brighter and everyday i get happier, stronger, and feel much more alive |
