the journey of life takes us many places some of our own choice and others that come along due to circumstances beyond our control. letting go as a child of the strong hands that hold you and later have those strong hands let go of you. letting go of childhood to face the uncertainty and excitement of adolescence fading into the raw emotions of teenage years, with urgency we try to grow up so fast. letting go of innocence to discover adult passions is never an easy thing and not always what we were looking for. letting go of loves lost due to death, poor choices, or bad luck is just part of the test. how do we let go of a dream that consumes the heart when to let go means to no longer live with the possibility of fulfillment? letting go of past memories, mistakes, opportunities as we struggle to age gracefully. letting go of anger, pain, and the need to forgive is the greatest measure of a heart that is strong. |
