T, Hey darlin'! This one of my favorite towns in the Southwest. Yes, it's the one the Eagles sing about in that song ("Standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona...."). It's along old Route 66 on the high sagebrush plains of the northeastern part of the state. It's also where, in a little diner once, a waitress pegged me immediately as a New Yorker! Ha! I wonder how they knew? But seriously, we should take a Rt. 66 (alas, now I-40) roadtrip sometime. And while we're in the Mojave we could look for that phone booth ["loneliest phone booth in America"]! We could call our bosses and say we're quiting our jobs 'cause we gotta get to LA and watch the sun set....

(Love you.)
