Nothing lasts forever. Nothing lasts forever. As hard as we try to make it last forever, it won't. As much as we say we will never leave, someone will. We can only count on ourselves in this life to get through it. You and anyone can write and say beautiful words, we can hold on to them But when it is all said and done, it's over. You can only hold on to a memory and A memory doesn't last forever, It's replaced by something or someone new and different. Relationships are like that too. They never stay the same. Some grow together and some grow apart. Some refuse to believe in truth and realism. They choose to grasp and hold on To the fantasy. In truth and realism I learn to treasure the moment. The now. Reflect and smile, but know that I am moving ahead. Even when we try to stop and hold on, we can't keep holding on to something that doesn't last forever. It's as complex or as simple as I make it. I can think of it as sad or an adventure. It's a journey, are you ready to join me? |
