around me there are conversations I could not participate in even if I wanted to which I don't various women are swapping tales about their pets and husbands and children some are bragging about finishing their Christmas shopping before Halloween and some are discussing Dr. Phil's latest book or the shoe sale at Macy's or the merits of their daughter's basketball playing from a good family boyfriend and I am bemused and bored eating candy and drinking another goddamned Dr. Pepper which always makes me burp and hiccup imagining conversations about anarchy and how one starts a revolution in 2003 America and how to masturbate while looking at college coed Playboys without feeling hopelessly perverted. |
