I bumped into an old friend the other day, He asked, "It appears things are going your way?" I boasted and gleamed, "I am in a good place." He said, "Looks like you finished first in the race!" Spirit enlightens and glows thru the day, The victor from the broken hearted, hooray! It doesn't slip in or mend over night, Inconceivable endurance keeps up the fight. I am swept away by the smell in the air, For the moment I don't care that life isn't fair. I live in the moment and what is, is NOW, Wearing a smile instead of a frown. |
