after berating you and bitching all the way to Rio Rancho and back and going to bed facing the wall shivering with nerves twitching ignoring you sleeping with disturbed dreams I deserve awaking to your troubled hard sleeping sounds getting up to pop some pills washed down with Walgreens spring water feeding my not hungry self two Reeses and a salty hardboiled egg checking email reading of my mom's trip to the outlet mall in San Marcos buying clothes for my sister's baby due in July checking another false xanga that everyone believes and cries over contemplating another game of Literati while my purple fingernails dry wondering why so much sent out is never returned I feel suddenly like puking myself up puking again and again like I'm pregnant and rushed to the ER for puking up Big Red dye and communion puking like everything that is in me has to go. |
