how is it that one moment what you need and have is just 'right there' and then the next it is gone? where do lost things go? is there some random clearing house somewhere in orbit that holds lost items until they are one day either found or no longer needed? take, for instance, car keys. you know you put them 'right there' and then turn your back for a couple of seconds, and, POOF! gone. vanished. nata. is that how one loses love? when falling in love, something about that other person constantly calls to the inner most desires requiring you to think, eat, and sleep the essence of that other person. someone suggested it is just a special 'something'. quite aptly put since whatever it is defies any explanation known to man or woman. how does that 'something' happen? no one knows. yet, time and again, it is just there. 'something' causes people pairings that mystify friends and relatives, and sometimes the two who are paired. then, suddenly one day from out of absolutely no where that 'something' is gone. not there. vanished. nata. just like driving the car without keys, loving someone else without that 'something', it's impossible to do. |
