A life so young, and scarce begun Once left us suddenly Leaving tears and some regrets But also memories Of laughter, smiles and happy days Spent with those she loved The precious child whom they'd watched grow Now watched them from above The years passed by as broken hearts Tried their best to mend But God decided one so young Would need a closest friend One night He called another home, Her life on Earth complete And though we cannot understand Her death is bittersweet For though the pain for us below Is more than we can bear We must remember two we love Are in each other's care They walk together hand in hand In their Father's loving grace As heaven smiles, the angel child Looks on her mother's face. |
