I am looking at my feet with my eyes closed and There is a smile on my face. Right now, I am content. Right now, I'm just happy. The smallest things have been giving me pleasure lately And that is a beautiful thing. I can imagine you there, Devious with a sparkle in your eye. You wear it well, and I can't wait To see it on you again. I thought about the fact That we were on the same soil last week, But then again, haven't we always been, in a Grander sense? I do wonder if you ever think of me The way you used to. I wonder even if I think of you in the same way I used to, Or am I just trying to relive those unforgettable memories? Memories are like films...they are something to be showered with fondness, But you cannot live in them. You can't ever go back again. So we must move forward, and hope that the circle Eventually completes itself and brings us together. If that's the way it was meant to be, of course. I must say, I'm enjoying the ride While I wait to find out. |
