ideally we would be someplace warmer and there would be sweet fruity drinks that took us by surprise and knocked us flat on our butts but not before dancing and loving spinning running under a color splashed sky and there would be a ruby engagement ring on my finger because diamonds are cold and the ruby is your birthstone but what we have is now both of us scared and humbled trying to make it work in our small apartment with your walker and wheelchair all plans on hold we hold on to each other delighting in the miracle of us more than most people got and god knows we are grateful. |
