talk is cheap actions speak louder than words just for kicks i tried to 'get a life' again. against my better judgement i reached out to you. made all the first moves even though the wee small voice inside said 'don't do it'. something about you just turns me on. your smile, your easy laugh, your eyes that are deeper than any blues song i've ever heard. conversations are easy and free. now here i sit, wondering why i let myself expect too much. i am not angry with you. just me, because i was fool enough to believe, and an even bigger fool to hope. |
