love like faith is good for a number of things but it can't fly you to Burbank very well or fix your wife's busted sock drawer (the one where you know she keeps those white thigh- highs you bought her over a year ago) love can't make it rain in Darfur or snow in Vail love can try and try but it still can't teach you the things you forgot to learn and like faith it hasn't moved any mountains in at least the last 2,000 years (that report from last Wednesday remains sadly unconfirmed) |
