*** today, a good friend, MyPiayaya, posted a status in her yahoo messenger. It was a quote from the movie, The Mexican. It's at the tip of my tongue coz i know, one time, i read it from somewhere, and used it as a YM status as well. It talked about two people so in love with each other but can't seem to be together, put things together, put their shakin' fingers on it, so Julia, that character, asked, When do you call it quits? When do you throw in the towel? He was askin' Brad Pitt, the character. This piece is my Revalida to that: ... you know when Enough is? When there is certainty in your heart that you've done all things possible. So am not even good enough. I haven't tried hard enough. He's not good enough. He hasn't moved either. Besides, am not Julia Roberts and he's not Brad Pitt. Our lovestory is not a fairytale and our lives, MyPiayaya, it aint the movies. |
