i was on the cliff you let me fall so far down nah, i didn't jump you pushed me away that wasn't about patience that was about your game i left to make you crawl i lost faith in everything so now what are you saying coz your words are dead without action i do not believe in forever i live for today and tomorrow is just a dream for those who sleep and never awaken So i say ... beginnings are preludes to endings that's why i heart the sunset and fear the sunrise i got stuck in the ravine i was drowning in the quicksand i was looking for a hand i saw a shadow hidden in a crowd of snakes i couldn't fly, I couldn't crawl i was just looking for one, for once baby, i was just looking for you. you did let me down and it was such a waste i got up on my own let's now forget that part and move forward. No questions asked, No stories about the fall, No talk of dreams, No mention of tommorow. No promises that we can't keep... Let's just make up as we go along ... jusz don't let me down this time. |
