If you must break up with your girl do it at midnight on a Northern New Mexico casino dancefloor and blame it on the fact that the DJ is playing old school Michael Jackson and she won't dance to it or because the bartender can't mix a dirty martini for shit. Just do it when you're so trashed you've gone past the point of remembering it the next day. Do it after what you know should be your last beer but before you've totally lost count. But be sure to allow time to return to your hotel in the fake adobe city of holy faith and make love to her like you will remember. |
