One pays a price for love
Your face widens in snickers smiles
And subterranean sub plots
You lips pucker in moist mosaics
From patting them with your index finger
Waiting on a carved wet kiss
With pouty mouth fish lips
In the mirror previews
Your mind seriously slips
Putting on that lip snacking
Hot wax gooey gloss
While setting off alarms
At all levels of universal longing
Or maybe its that sneer down your nose
That plain ole insane look
From anything you deem unseemly
One pays a price for love
Did it ever stop us from doing it so keenly
