burning down the remnants of the past gunning down the romance and let it pass tinkering the ashes of yesterday along with your unwanted memories that should've been left behind your undaunted dullness and dryness your emotions that has gone dry for 100 years and beyond stepping out of the oblivion i've swallowed ans tasted the bitterness for long i know it's gone it's time to move on spreading out the ashes along with the flame in the rain i will never swallow your vile again i know it's over. i'm walking on sunshine finally the rain had stopped pouring wringing my faded heart i don't have to force a smile on my face my muscles don't have to twitch to lift it i'm more than ok i'm more than happy i'm pushing the walls away i know i'm ready spreading my arms wide shouting on the approaching horizon hope is here brightness is clear completion is near i can't believe i made it out of the storm but i am proud to be strong i'm more than ok i'm more than happy i know i'm ready. |
