It was officially still summer But no white in sight. I was innocent And you took from the taken. You knew my thoughts Before I knew what I was thinking. Personal freedom was unknown Until you turned the key to pursue. You left my mind, body and soul swirling Like the autumn leaves dancing in the wind.
