The rain called me from my sleep Drawn to it, sheets of white velvet Falling at my bare feet Each drop hits my shirtless back Running down my body to seemingly strip All the negative emotions I've been carrying For what was years since the last shower At the moment the Blues wash away And the Reds of love fill me with hope I look to what's next without fear Knowing the rain will eventually end And I will then wonder what happened RF 10/04/15 3:10am |
