Just A Poem

We surround ourselves with walls
Thinking no one can permeate them
Yet somehow
No matter how careful
Love does a sneak attack
Blowing up all your defenses
Bringing you back to real
You shake off the fragments
Of your past hurt and torment
Get out your lasso
Put on your red cowgirl boots
Grit your teeth
And prepare to rope and ride
That danged wild horse again
