the poetry boards tell me that when I write (not as well as you) in the haiku form, but it's not a 'nature' poem, that it is either 'senryu' or 'zappai.' I say, who cares what it's called! I love writing in short form. What I love about the haiku form is it's necessity to pack your punch into a package of predetermined size... It is wonderful to see you doing it. Dream Haiku is particularly poignant to me. That piece reflects what a lot of us have gone through.
Just keep doing YOUR thing, Misti... There is no substitute for it - or for YOU.
(I am reflecting, though, on how much I REALLY miss Isolde who first brought the haiku form around here to the Blender...)

Meanwhile blender people, have hit a serious block so wont be posting anything for a while, but y'all are helping me through some very rough waters, so thank you. I have just spent a couple of hours reading, and there are so many pieces I want to comment on,and I will, but right now I have to say:

After I first heard that in a movie, I swore to my lovely date that I would use that line as my phase du jour. I never did, but now...I must. Something about that movie makes me really happy to the quirky goof that I am.
