Happy Birthday Rainbow Chaser... 'A New Beginning' evoked many things for me so I'll just say this - I believe that those whom we lose in this life (having lost my mum, grandparents, my mother-in-law, who was a mum for ten years, my godmother 'sigh' - why is death our final destiny in this life?) still know us and, while I hope I'm not too presumptuous, those whom you've lost are very proud. As my mother-in-law would have said, 'Love, light and laughter always', especially to you today.

Chances Are-thanks for the birthday wish. I'm glad that the feeling of my poem could be transferred to you. Yep, im the big 21 today. all i have to do is make it through a final. Also, i believe that death isn't an ending, but a beginning, who knows how many times we will live this scenario once again? is that possible. i have been writing a lot of whimsical, spiritual poetry lately, have you noticed...LOL=)

Kirk- You are wonderful at making these selections. I also wanted to add a comment about the wedding ring. I was married for a very short time (short as in a year and a half), and still over a year later I find my ring finger feels naked and tingles. Odd.

Rainbow Chaser - When I say 'evoked', I meant I reflected on my own life, successes and failures, consequences, where I'm going, etc.
I explore my feelings to find a way to accept vrs deny them. They're mine to deal with, sometimes the poems I read here help me touch the ones I've forgotten. : )
PS No hangover: 2 berroca, 2 aspro & lots of water before sleep - used to work for me.
