Kirk, Having a separate board for the political stuff would endear you to me. As a transplanted American (born in Pt. Washington, Wisconsin) living in British Columbia who has steadfastly remained an proud American, I watch and read American political opinion and reporting from a safe and sane distance. And I still care about how things are going south of the 49th. But IMHO this board is no place for what has been "spewed" lately by some others posting here (jwb71913 and yourself in particular excluded). I don't object to people voicing their opinions at any time but honestly... if there is going to be an exchange of political views here let us have intelligent debate instead of bombastic rhetoric by some who would appear to have their heads anatomically displaced.

B. K., no my knickers are not in a twist and i wasnt trying to censor you, if you would actually reread what I wrote you would see that. you have every right to express your views but the whole American political/voting process can be viewed with some disbelief and slight amusement when you are not directly involved in it and live under a different system of government. That being said, one of the many positive things you can say about Americans: they are a passionate bunch when it comes to politics and the truth. i would just like to see more passion about hearts, minds and bodies here than about politics. but carry on! ...this site is always so interesting!
