Liz~ Thinking about it makes me want to cry. Have you eaten at the goldenrod? I was a real live goldenrod girl for a few summers. My grandparents and favorite aunt all live up there. I've been visiting since I was a fetus. ;-) It's my true home. I was there last summer for nine days and it wasn't long enough. Who knows, maybe we'll run into eachother one July day! ;-) ~Vi

Violet: I ALWAYS eat at the Goldenrod, every summer since I can remember! My goal in life is to live in the York/Wells area, I don't care if I have to live in a shack to do it. I live fairly far inland in NH and I just KNOW Maine is where I belong.
If you ever do go back to Maine for a visit, drop me a line and I'll meet you at the lighthouse! =)

thank you for your kind words. I know that I should spend more time here... and perhaps once this NaNo madness has subsided, I will do just that...

I do have to mention that I am really enjoying the discussion that the latest survey question has provoked.

You're a Seebee? Wow! That means we're in the same business (the engineer/architect I work for does a lot of work for the military, including some on occasion for NAVFAC)! I even work with/for an engineer who was a Seebee.

Be careful out there... Godspeed... and *thank you*, Jack.

Lisa, I had no idea about Tony. I'm truly sorry for everyone's loss. He was a terrific poet.
