Ria, I know what you mean. Interesting what you say about flying pests...I haven't learned to cope with them nicely yet ha. I do give flies a chance to escape but I'm not keen on letting mosquitoes live.
But the other critters, including my ground hog, I talk to all the time..well, except for the skunk ha. I avoid him like the plague...ha
