Gala's Summer Love Competition

Gala set up a little competition to poetically celebrate summer romance and the songs that celebrate. The rules were to create a poem that A. has the theme of Summer Love, B. Has at least FOUR titles of summer songs, or incorporates four whole lines from the various songs, and C. "Has COMPLETELY boss title". Also, once a song title or line was used it was offlimits. It didn't get the biggest turnout, but some of the results were quite good and interesting

I decline presiding as judge, since I had been a bit burnt out from selecting the Front Page Picks, so here are the ones that Gala thought best caught the flavors of the quick-disapearing season:
