Had you seen my 5 fave. picks for love songs when you put say goodbye on the blender? Oh that song is everything that was the beginning of my most favorite relationship. We sat and talked, listening to Dave, The Cure, and many others - while the seduction took us in. Thank you for sharing the lyrics with everyone who doesn't know. I love your Cure postings as well - but Pictures of You is still my favorite.
I really liked "etouffee" though I must say I eyed last night's shrimp cocktail suspiciously before diving in.
rhet~ i adore "one jew and one smitten gentile" ( i bet i didn't get the title right) wow! It's great! It's all your own, but it makes me feel my own experiences in similar light, if that makes any sense. I just love it. :-)

I love ADMIRATION and ORGASM. Both express how I feel about my special love. You really do add something special to this place for me. You are resilient and outspoken - I like that.
Dearie, thanks a whole bunch for your comment on my newest post. I look forward to your opinion since we share so many common elements in life. You are such a sweetie on the board - rivaled only by a handful of others. I have never read a mean word from you. I posted that to remind myself how important friends are in life. I wanted to share that friendship with all who read it.
Hola Just Some Girl ~

I was going through some older postings and I saw this one of yours and had to tell you again how much I like it. To Answer Your Question is so in your face honest - brutal, in fact. Your brevity astounds me. You say so much in so few lines. Are you giving classes in that window-box of yours? If so - sign me up, sista.
hahaha Inversion - funny, sizing up your shrimp cocktail. Thank you Echolocation and MichaelT open parenthesis (I love ‘What You Give’ from Tesla, too. Do you know which CD is the best to get it? I’d almost forgotten it till I saw your entry then had to go find a sound sample to hear it again close parenthesis)

I actually haven't listened to the song yet. I saw your 5 songs pick and the title made me check the lyrics and I found them kind of approriate to my present situation. I am very curious about the song and I like Dave Mathews, too. Yes, you are right, "pictures of you" is and will remain one of the best love songs ever!!!
Love The Last Road Trip (Last Roadtrip). Reminds me somehow of a song by Melissa Etheridge... "sleep while I drive" or something like that.
Really like all you stuff but especially enjoyed this one. Reminds me of that old song "Eighty-Eight Lines About Forty-four Women."

I don't know why everything reminds me of a song tonight. Maybe it's the new survey. I have no idea how I'm gonna narrow it down to just five songs!
Always wonderful to hear your voice! All your latest are great. Especially liked etouffee(Etouffee). I grew up around seafood and this one cracked me up.
