Well, Rhet, I guess EVERYTHING is autobiographical, in a certain sense... Thank you for your comment!!!!

I agree with the previous comment. Since we are all writing from our own experience (or our conception of what that experience should be, or the experiences we have fond memories of), everything we write tells a tale about ourselves...

BTW, new survey question (the first of '02) is up...
Angel, sorry about that, I should've warned people HTML would be escaped out, since I don't have enough brains to make a proper HTML cleaner, and I've seen really bad situations on "collaborative HTML pages" so to speak.

And Kevin, sorry about *that*, I didn't put in the link code or url fixerupers there either.

~*~B.K.~*~ Oh, you poor thing! That makes this 20 degree weather seem a little more bearable!! I wish you luck in finding all those lovely pine needles. Funny how you notice the ones that were looked over when company or a neurotic family member is visiting! I do like the resolution to sleep and write more, but with Footloose rehearsals starting today, it looks I'll have to focus on the latter! Hope your days are merry and bright!!
love always,
Nothing: wow, something less for... was incredible....I like the imagery of the "knives.... of rust whose edge have fled/to rip and shred instead of cut..." Great...
Courtney: black and bluehit me in the gut, and made me want to cry in recognition. This is so shattering, it does just what poetry is supposed to do, it made me FEEL. I can't seem to say enough how much I love your work.
Courtney;"black and blue," I just caught your last three woman, this one has impact and I hope any woman that ever has to endure this gets out and never looks or goes back to it. The men that do it are sick cowards that deserve to live like the rats they are, in a hole. No woman should live like this EVER!
Hi BK! Thanks for the welcome back; you're so sweet to notice my absence! San Francisco is wet and wild and wonderful.

I had to take a couple months off . . . to fall madly in love! I was hanging onto a relationship that never should have been more than a friendship, but in mid-November, I finally let it go and opened myself up to something new (see Contemplating a Plunge). And wow: love hit me like a MAC truck!

It's funny; I've been afraid that my poems will not have the power they once had; I feel more "artistic" when angst-ridden, I guess. I've been so obnoxiously happy lately that sometimes only inane burbles are all I can muster. But I'll keep plugging away; your wish, dearheart, is my command!
