musicalduck~Thank you. I feel so honored that my work could help anyone with what they may be going through. I must say I really am quite flattered that you enjoy my work. I'm still caught by surprise when someone enjoys something I write, because I really don't think my work is really all that good...at least compared to others here on this site. Thanks again :-). And I think I've pointed it out before but I really enjoyed goodbye...it almost almost made me cry.

Vishal, don't worry too too much about it. If it had made me really grumpy I would've spoken as "Kirk, Blender-Keeper" not plain old "Kirk". And I am still amused by that interpretation I read before and posted...
Anyway, I'm thinking of maybe possibly taking another stab at t-shirts...but good ones this time, silkscreened. http://www.brunettotshirts.com/ makes some pretty good stuff, I think. We wouldn't have the easy big selection like we did with cafepress, but I think the imprint would be much, much nicer, and the whole thing might be like 1/2 to 2/3 the price of the cafepress stuff per shirt; the trouble is I'd have to order them in lots of like 25. Do people think it's worth it?

And I do have to say, Chris has a very eclectic taste in music :-) Oh, and I may be wrong, but I once heard a list of songs that referred to masturbation, like "Dancing with Myself' and "I Think I'm turning Japanese" etc. and I was totally mortified, because I used to sing those loudly in college. Anywho, maybe "Wang Chung" fits in there too???

Yeah, I heard awhile back that "Dancing With Myself" is about masturbation. I was disillusioned. I just thought it was an eBuLLieNT song about individuality and refusal to conform! I still like it and I still want to buy "Vital Idol" someday. Chris makes fun of "Eyes Without a Face" but that's my favorite Billy Idol song. And this is just to say that he can never criticize my taste in music again after submitting that atrocious country song!!!
Wang Chung=masturbation? Makes sense! My all-time favorite masturbation song has to be "Darling Nikki" by Prince and the Revolution. "I met her in a hotel lobby masturbating with a magazine." I fully realize the sleaze factor and I guess I should be ashamed of myself. But I feel liberated in admitting that.
I sent an e-mail to the editor of People regarding the Andrea Yates story. They actually published a letter I sent them a few years back regarding the nanny (Louise Whatsherface...from the UK)who allegedly shook her infant charge to death. People should have to take a battery of tests before they can breed. !!!@@##$ I'm going to get involved in politics in Albuquerque. I haven't voted since '92 and that's really lame.

OHHHHH Misti ~ I love 'Darling Nikki' and 'Bambi' and 'I wanna Be Your Lover' - all of the early Prince songs. And remember 'Jack U Off?' He was at his peak (no pun intended) in the early 80's when I was in college, and I remember an outdoor fashion show, where they played 'Purple Rain' and a very popular student rode in with a guy on a motorcycle. She had on a full length purple sequined coat and spiked boots. A few months later she was killed in a single car accident, and yet I will always remeber how beautiful she looked that day and get chills every time I hear 'Purple Rain.' Anyway, I digress....
P.S. Billy Idol will always rock... My favorites are 'Rebel Yell' and 'Rock the Cradle of Love'- and if anybody wants to make fun of us, go right ahead. I bet they can't get their hair to stand up straight or their mouths to sneer :-)
Ha! No shit! Oh, I LOVED "Rock the Cradle of Love"...both the song and the video! And "White Wedding"! And "Hot in the City"! I better stop now. Chris just left to run some errands and he said,"No more Internet." Bad me.
