thanks foolish, i wouldn't say perfect, but it's nice to know someone likes my stuff. i liked the thought that it's ok to cry, cause that way the sorrow passes. that was nice. thanks

Lions DO seem out of place in Las Vegas, but so too do palm trees... Clark County's not exactly the loveliest part of Nevada.
Did you know that the Insomnia was a famous coffee house in Hermosa Beach back in the Fifties? I found that out when doing a bit of research a couple weeks ago...

I don't think I'll make it to Insomnia tonight, after all. We've got to go to Wal-Mart Supercenter in Rio Rancho (is there a supercenter in Albuquerque???)and buy groceries and I have to go to bed somewhat early tonight. The job search continues. uggghhhh...tonight I turned in my application to the Century 24 cinema. Yes, I want to sell popcorn and movie tickets for a living and get a discount on movies and free movie posters! Last night we saw the third "Austin Powers" movie there and loved it! I think it's the funniest one yet. I was laughing so hard during the Jay-Z prison dance sequence that I was in pain. I don't like Fat Bastard and Goldmember, though. I was going to read From Depraved to CRAVED tonight. Definitely next week 'cause Chris's parents are coming in from New York and Chris wants them to see me reading my poetry. I'm glad you got the postcard! What would Las Vegas be without the palm trees???

Misti ~ I meant that in the very sweetest way. I just repeat over and over that you strike me with a chord as strong as lightening sometimes. And I know you take praise from everybody, but sometimes I want you to receive it as strongly as I am trying to express it.
Of course you are appalling - (a compliment by far) in the way that you state the raw truth like nobody else can, and that is why you are the best at what you do.
