CryingShame, Scqueen, Ali, Rennie ~ Thanks to y'all for the kind kudos on my latest subs. I'm actually quite pleased with "Seven Year Bitch" myself. And it took all of about 5 minutes to write. I showed it to my yummy love when I was done and he said, "I hope that's not about us in any way." I laughed and said no. We've not even known each other a year. And actually, I don't even know WHERE it came from. See, often times my writing has nothing to do with me or my life at all. Doesn't it drive you nuts when people assume something you write is about YOU? It does me.

Anyway.....

Akash, your life sounds sublime. All that travel. I'll bet you're a very interesting character!

And Misti ~ Girl, I'm a bit surprised at how happy I was to hear that you're at a job you love and that you can see a future for yourself. I guess over the last few years I've gotten to feel that I know you through your writing. Many times I have thought of you as a Sylvia Plath, in a way. You're so exceptionally talented and so eclectically insane (in a good way). And maybe there's a part of me that feels sort of maternally responsible to see you thrive (weird, as we'd be more equals in a friendship, I'm sure, rather than a mother/daughter feeling if we actually met and spent time together...after all, I'm ONLY 32!! Ha!) I'm rambling now, but suffice it to say, I want you to succeed. In a career. In your marriage. In your soul. So.....GO GET IT, BABY!!!
HI ALL. I'VE BEEN AWAY FOR A WHILE NOW ... IT'S GOOD TO BACK. I FINALLY GOT MOVED FROM TEXAS TO OHIO. EVERYTHING IS SO DIFFERENT BUT I REALLY LIKE IT. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CATCH UP ON MY READING HERE, EVERYONE IN THE BLENDER COMMUNITY HAS A SPECIAL QUALITY THAT THEY ALONE BRING TO MAKE THIS SITE SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE TO HANG OUT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

MY LAST SUBISSION IS KIND OF ON THE DARK SIDE BUT IT IS TRULY HOW I FELT DURING THE MOVE AND THE FIRST FEW WEEKS AFTER. I'M HAPPY TO REPORT THAT I'M FEELING BETTER ABOUT LIFE IN GENERAL NOW.

Peequa - 'I have' - I know exactly where you are coming from with this.

Vish - Hey babes - Love 'Random Thoughts 19' Welcome back (again)

Teej - was amused by your recent rant. I teach maths, but I'm always correcting spellings. I could fill a book with the different spellings I get for geometric shapes alone. There seems to be an increasing number of pupils with dyslexia (or maybe we are just more aware these days). Some kids cant even copy spellings off the board properly, and there's also the new problems caused by them being used to 'text message short hand'. However, I know what you mean about people using spell check. :-)

Akash - Welcome to the UK! You're lucky that we're having a very warm Autumn (so far). Stock up on the winter woollies! At least you're at the warmer end of the country ( I seem to remember you saying that you're in Reading). Make sure you get 'up North' and check out the scenery.
