Lydia, yeah, people's online names do say something about them. I personally have a rough kind of pride in always using near variants of my normal name...but then again, I'm fortunate to have a (realtively) uncommon name, and only rarely run into other Kirk's in online groups. (And hardly ever kisrael's) I think some people enjoy creating an online personae, but it's never seen worthwhile to me. And I have to admit, people with memorable logins and good poetry here stand out in my mind more than people who merely have good poetry...it provides a bit of a mental hook.
Tanq, (who has a great username, btw,) I agree about astrology. If there's something in it, it has to do with the earth and the sun, not the well nigh undetectable gravitational (or whatever) effects of distant planets and stars. Climate, prenatal nutrition, all that stuff. (But...hmmm...wouldn't people south of the equator tend to the opposite of what their astrological signs predict??)
I'm an Aries, FWIW. It seems to be a pretty common neutral sign in fiction, I've noticed...most of the other signs seem to come with a lot more "baggage". Mo's a Gemini.
Jimmyallgrownup, I've got nothing against a little offtopic talk, just so long as it doesn't get out of hand. (alas, politics is one of the more dangerous categories, but as long as everyone keeps it short we should be ok.)

not to kick a dead horse, but i really think red is perfect. it has many shades, and is passionate, deep and hot. (it's also my favorite color anyway, so that helps:-P)
Haven't had a chance to do any reading. Something about "signs" here? I'm a scorpio. Just had a birthday Nov. 14th. Had surgery Nov. 8th and finally home now. I did very well!
