Actually, it's an interesting format to write in, worth trying to do for your own beloved.

(As a sidenote, I have to admit that that kind of thing, done well, definately gets my attention when I'm making front page picks. It is possible to do poorly I guess, just something things that won't evoke *anything* in anyone except maybe the 'intended recipient', but if you take a little bit of care, you get a piece that has two faces (in a positive sense) one for the 'intended recipient' who (hopefully) will get all the references and most likely be touched and feel like it kind of honors the relationship, and a second face of tantalizing details, that whisper about a world the other readers aren't privvy to, but might recongize bits of in their own experience.)
