Re: your/you're, its/it's...usually I can't be faulted for not *knowing* the difference...it's the proofreading that I'm lazy on.

I've been learning that overall I'm a very audio thinker. (I like to hear the progression of things, and if it's something complex I want it clearly mapped out.) So when I'm typing along, often I'll just make the slip and never realize it, because, lo and behold, they sound the damn same.

(Of course, its/it's...I think it's kind of stupid that just because the contraction "it is->it's" exists, then possesive "its" gets to ignore the usual english rules for making a possesive, like "Fred's"...if English were more like computer code, you'd use "it's" for both and rely on context.)

And usually when I'm rambling about stuff like this I'll throw in a mention of my newly recognized (by me, not clinically) dyslexia-lite; one of my most common typos is swapping 'm's and 'b's...especially swapping "by" for "my". I'm not sure about that one...maybe because even though they don't sound THAT similar, they're produced by similar positions of the mouth.

1. For a person you loved deeply, would you be willing to move to a distant country for him or her knowing there would be little chance of seeing your friends or family again?
No Way! Temporarily or with rare visits, but not with the possiblity of never seeing them again!!

2. Do you believe in ghosts or spirits? Would you, be willing to spend a night alone in a remote house that is supposedly haunted?
Yes, I do, and probably not!

3. If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone? Why haven't you told them yet?
I tend to speak my mind, and at this point I would have no regrets.

4. If you could spend one year of your life in perfect happiness, but after doing so, not remember anything of the experience, would you do so? If no, why not?
No, if I could not remember after the year, there would be no point. It would just be a year wasted. If all my dreams come true in one year and than get torn away suddenly I would want the memories!!

5. You discover that your wonderful one-year old child is, because of a mixup at the hospital, not truly yours. Would you want to exchange the child to try and correct the mistake?
Yes, but I would want it done in the least traumatic way possible for everyone involved. I would want visits with the child i raised for one year and updates, and vice versa for the family who raised my child for a year.

6. Do you think that Earth will be a better or worse place 100 years from now?
I think the potential is there for earth to be a much better place in 100 years due to medical, technological, etc advances. In the end it depends on the people, I can not predict the future, but I can hope for the best.

7. Would you accept 1 million dollars to leave the country and never step foot in it again?
No. I love my country.

8. Which sex do you think has it easier in our culture? Have you ever wished you were of the opposite sex?
Men, in general. Of course our culture is so full of diversity, a stay at home father may totally disagree with this statement and be right from his point of view. As to wishing I was a man, maybe sometimes when i pee...hahaha.

9. You are given the power to kill a person by thinking of their death and repeating the word "good-bye" twice. People would die a natural death, and nobody would ever suspect you. Are their any situations in which you'd use this power?
I plead the fifth....

10. Whom do you admire most besides yourself? In what way does that person inspire you?
My mother, she has never had it "easy", but she is always supportive, upbeat, and ready to take on another day.

11. If at birth, you could select the profession that your child would later pursue, would you do so? What profession?
No, I want my children to be happy, doing what makes them happy.

12. You have the chance to meet someone with whom you can have the most satisfying love imaginable--the stuff of dreams. Sadly, you know that in six months, the person will die. Knowing the pain that would follow, would you still want to meet the person and fall in love?
Yes.

13. Do you prefer being around men or women? Do your closest friends tend to be men or women?
If it is a group of people I have never met, it tends to be easier to strike up a conversation with a man. I tend to form close relationships with men quicker than I do with women. However of my group of close friends, it is the women I tend to be closer to.
