Sassy, when I picked them up yesterday, my younger daughter who is very supportive that I need a life first asked if I went out, got plowed & had a good time. Of course I got my pool night with the girls but mostly just drank a few suds on the curb with my friends Sonya & Heidi.
The older more high maintenance one jammed me right off the bat when we got home & saw there was no milk or cereal in the house. I told her I spent a lot of time with my thoughts and STILL decided to go get them....LOL
I think they need bruttle honesty once in awhile...don't you?
Like you Sassy, I am also going to take a shot at Misti's poem assignment. As soon as I think of my favorite song or album. There are so many, my taste in music is all over the place.

Thanks, Natural. It was kind of forced, trying to fit the song titles in, I probably didn't need to try and use them all but I did, with one exception, there is no way you can fit Adam Raised a Cain in there...can't wait to see what you come up with!

when I did the assignment the first time I thought I just had use the title of my favorite cd as the title of the poem...it was after three in the morning and I wasn't thinking too clearly. I wrote a poem called Blood On The Tracks. Then I read poems by other poets and they used song titles in the poems. It's a really fun poetry site. Other assignments: write a sonnet, write a poem modeled after William Carlos Williams' Red Wheelbarrow, write a poem about your birthplace using your birthplace as the title, etc.

...just got back from Kinko's where I put in an order for my second chapbook, Little Pouts. Like Mnemosyne it will have a full color wraparound collage of mine for a cover. If anyone would like a copy let me know! I only ordered 25 copies.
