bossy boots, about silence:

i can relate to this piece. And so it was true what a much younger male friend used to say, when we've wronged somebody too bad, too many times or when much lies have been told, we get lost somewhere in what could have been really beautiful. We long to rebuild, start all over again but we don't know if a thousand apologies or even a river of tears would be enough.

And worst, as part of human dysfunction, while we always think of ways to correct mistakes of the past, how come, we always end up with decisions that push the pain deeper.

"leave behind all that has been said and done
perfecting love’s forgiveness", i guess this is the only way. Especially when "you ever wanted something so badly went hungry, crazy to get there".

but before getting there and leaving old hurts behind ... it all starts with the basics .... talk ... in all honesty ... until it brings the both you down to tears.

Otherwise, as I said in my poem "aftertaste", isnt it bitter to carry a suitcase full of regrets. sayang kasi. sayang talaga.

cheers to us, bossy boots.
