Shreveport, LA dodged a bullet from Gustav; however south of us in South Louisiana in a big way needs power and supplies...now, seems Ike is making it's way into the gulf of mexico--may have to run for higher ground again....if it heads too close to Navarre, Florida where my daughter resides, she plans to high tail it up here with her sea frog, sea turtle, a ferret and kitty cat...praying / keeping our fingers crossed--really messing up the LSU tigers' times to play football, too...not much fun and games when the state is suffering...we can be grateful that the people get out of town--not many loss of life; however, their lives are truly affected when homes/business/schools are damaged....would like to hear from you soon...please send me email about what's going on in your world?
