Star of David, about Etta James: Ooh. I just got to reading the front page picks there (I'm always behind it seems) and this caught my eye. I like this a lot. Short poems aren't easy to do I find, but this is done well. I've also forcefully reminded myself about past romantic pain. Makes the present brighter and ensures (well, sometimes) that the same mistakes aren't repeated.

wolfscreamer, about What goes wrong: Ha! Until recently I had almost forgotten how wonderful the simple things are such as this. Luckily, I am able to vividly recall this, and other, wondrous trivialities nowadays.

B.K. - Thank you ever so kindly. It is an unfortunate truth, however subjective said truth may be. I find as I've grown older I've found less and less good people. I've also noticed that people have difficulties overtly displaying any sincere individuality, amongst innumerable other things. Maybe I'm jaded, who knows. On a side note, I've always wondered what B.K. stands for. I'm assuming it's your initials?
i'm just him, about Fighting for Paris back: This is awesome. Good to know that all your work still has that 'punch' (pun intended) in the last couple of lines.

Marsh; Southerners have first and middle names that they are often called by. In our family we had two cousins that had same first and different middle names. (one being me) BK and BF.If my mother said my first and middle name together I knew I was in trouble...and I was sure my mother would never understand my writing..so BK poems came to be.
As for good people take heart.. there are still many.. who just try and not step too deeply into the doo of the ones who throw decency to the curb at any instance that fits their need. (I'm trying to be nice ha)
Thanks Kindred Spirit, seems like lately the words are harder to fall into place where once they did so effortlessly. Just out of practice I hope.

I look forward to seeing more of your work on the blender pages.
