The Blender Survey Question

Have you ever given the object of your affection aural stimulation? (no, not sex in the ear) I mean, have you ever read them any of your poetry? What was their response?
deevaa ah, not this object of my affection, but objects in my past.

My current object I've read erotic short stories too, but none of my own.

In my past it often lead to another form or aural stimulation, with my guy now..... well.... I think he likes it, but we don't do it often.
jackryhme lol since ive only been writing this stuff fer a little over a year now and cant read chinese or translate english into same and though she has a good understanding of english its not up to par with romantic imaging .... so lol cant realy even try nor have i ever had anyone read that i know face to face so....
lol ah well...
rikachez I had recently sent my poetry, probably should of read it aloud. I think right now, it is shock...or Awe.
splatipus I often read my hubby my stuff, especially the more comic ones and the ones that are eventually meant to be songs. Those ones usually inspire him to go off and strum the guitar to find a chord pattern that fits.
Kirk Nah, most of my poetry is about the relationships that don't work. So usually if anything I have to e-mail it.

Though I made Yee + Lan ( http://www.loveblender.com/prose/yee.lan.html ) up as a bedtime story, so that was out loud then. (The listener liked it.)
B.K. He's the very first to ever see my poem as they are written to him and sent at the same time I post them. I can't wait to read some of them to him..sigh (Kisses Darlin)

Max-Rom I have read a few to her, and usually her reaction was that of, "Was that for me?" She loves my poetry. In her words, it is one of the things that makes me who I am.
Misti Yeah. To almost all of them. Jay cried. Brian was turned on. Chase didn't understand or appreciate anything but the sex poems. Chris laughs because I mispronounce so many different words.
Entropy A couple of years ago I went by a different name on the boards here. The girl I was currently seeing and I used to communicate through poems on the board when we were having problems in the relationship. One of us would write a poem, and the other would answer back in another poem, or vica versa.

muryan I haven't had a guy I felt comfortable enough to read my poetry to. Nor have I had one long enough to get that comfortable. But I hope to find him someday, and when I do, I will definitely read my poetry to him.
TJ Holland I had this really bad habit of marrying men with a 'different' intellect than mine. The first husband would fall asleep, or look at me the same way a turnip might look at a person upon being pulled from the dark ground. The second husband loved it, but didn't understand it. Then he'd try to write something that usually ended up making me feel embarassed for him. I'd have to pretend to like it. I stopped sharing because it was so uncomfortable.

I've known/'seen' some men who could identify and communicate on that level, but I wasn't physically attracted to any of them. Now I'm just holding out for a sexy, intellectual, passionate writer. HA!
Madi That would be a yes. Their reactions? I don’t kiss and tell. ooops, I think I just did.
Savannah Haze Very little poetry... more of my prose. Don't know if it's because my poetry tends to be more personal OR because it's my weakest writing and I'm self-conscious. My ex was fairly critical of what I wrote or acted like he didn't care at all. I let my husband read some of my essays before we married so he'd understand me better. I have let him read a few poems and he seemed to like them.
chris Nah. I've already been told that I'm not her favorite poet, so I don't think she feels like she's missing out on much.
:( But it's all good...I've given up on the poetry thing anyway. In my next incarceration--er, incarnation--I plan to be the conductor of a mid-size symphony orchestra and weekend skydiver.
