The Blender Survey Question

Some people find the autumn to be the most romantic time of year. What season is your favorite, romantically speaking, and why?
Liz Winter. The candles, snow falling outside the window, wrapped up in blankets on lazy weekend days in front of the fireplace...nothing beats it. And there's Christmas, New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day, can't ask for more romance than that!
Misti Autumn is my favorite season but I guess winter is the best season for romance, even though in East Texas we didn't have much of a winter. We had an awesome time in NYC last December, though...walking around Little Italy and browsing The Strand and seeing the big tree at Rockefeller. Riding the subway, which was thrilling to me, and then going to Grand Central Station and taking the train back home. And browsing the little shops in Cold Spring and drinking hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows. This winter will be especially romantic because we live in a place that has snow and mountains. And I hear the farolitos are pretty awesome around Christmas time.
Echolocation Winter: Fireplaces, apple pie, flannel, snowball fights, hot chocolate with a smidge of schnapps, crystal stars and icy air, blue-white nights under a full moon...*sigh*
Hcat Winter - ... Snow gleaming in moonlight, wrapped up in a blanket with my love to stay warm, gazing out at clear dark skies filled with beautiful stars, the tantilizing aroma of supper in the oven, the serenity in the quiet stillness as the country sleeps, the idea spending all night cuddled for warmth... definitely winter.
Kirk Fall, when all nature slips into its annual coma? Feh.

Winter? That land of snow and ice and days that if you blink you miss daylight? (I know, so what am I doing this far north)

Spring? Gettin' there. The return of tanktops is always welcome.

But finally, I gotta give the nod to summer, where wistful summer associations of summer camp combine with Mo wearing less clothes.

Like the Indigo Girls said "I can go crazy on a night like tonight...when summer's begining to give up her fight"
chris Spring.
muryan There is something about walking through the Colorado mountains in Fall with a guy you adore. The trees are turning into golds and reds and oranges against the clear blue sky. The air is crisp while the sun is warm and there is a light breeze flirting with your hair. The air is so clean and it makes me feel alive and then there is the chill in the air that makes you want to move closer to your significant other so he can warm you up. Camping in the autumn is absolutely to die for. I guess you can say that Fall is my favorite time of the year, romantically and otherwise. Good thing since Halloween is my favorite holiday.
spaceman Fall in New England is the most romantic to my mind, the crackling leaves, the fireplace, cool nights and great food. But summer is by far the sexiest season...
Jon Over here in Southerin California in the Orange County region summer would have to be the most romantic time of year for me. The days are long, the temperture is a hot and steamy and cold and relaxed at night. And like Kirk said it leads to my g/f wearing less clothes.

Nothing beats spending the whole day at the beach. Trying to stay cool during the day and cuddling by the campfire at night. Ahhh...(insert pop summer song here).
Inflatable Sushi jon, i hear ya brother!...californy here i come, goin' back to Cali...California Girls, California Dreamin', Californication - CALIFORNIA is MY favorite 12-month season of the year for good lovin! Hooo--eeey! U-Reek-A!
Ali Fall...With all the leaves turning colors. Everything looks so pretty. Though, I also must admit that I love summer too...*smile*
CryingShame58 Now for me this is complicated! When the seasons change I find that this causes me to be the most romantic...Also when there are extremes...like when it is the coldest or the hottest...The changes and extremes cause me to feel witty and frisky! The greatest ideas seem to pop into my head...
soulwolf favorite season romatically? well I'd have to say that they all have their good sides. in summer, which I think is my favorite, everyone seems happier overall, and I'm all about that. Winter, probably the least fav. is a good time to keep those you love warm, but seems to be the most trying for relationships. Spring, a time of new growth and pretty things, but theres a lot of rain. Autumn all those different colors starting to show... could be good, could be bad. but yeah, summer definately, especially in california!!!! or at least one day there! (devilish smile for those with inside information)
jackryhme the change of seasons when its not one nor the other yet holds both memories and promise of what is yet to be and what has already past
