TJ...I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your take on the Lynch film. I have been out of town with work and haven't had time to scratch, let alone cruise the Blender. I understand many of your points - I am glad to know that I am not crazy (at least regarding that movie).
However, like most recent surges of anxiety - I am over the Mulholland Drive drama. I no longer remember WHY I was so confused! Ah, the perks of a long work week.I Fear For Myself ...Oh Teej, do I ever know that turmoil.

I watched Mulholland Drive the other night. Hmmm. Still milling it over, trying to determine what I think. My impression is that the story itself is actually very simple, but that Lynch has to throw in the weird shit for effect! I love that about him!
I also watched Donnie Darko. Now, THAT'S a film!!

I TOLD YOU! That damned bunny scared the shit outta me. Donnie Darko was amazing. That boy was so cute and so frightening at the same time.
My next 2 must see films are Iris and Correct Change (that local film) at the Festival.

Hi Guys. I watched Mullholland Drive. It baffled me. I sat and pondered it for hours. I understand that all the stuff that happened before the box was her fantasy while she was "givin' herself a hand" but... I don't get the box really... other than it being a trasnition. The cowboy confuses me too. Is he God? Hmm... I liked it though. I really thought it was cool. I'll have to see it again and see if any new ideas come to me.
