Hey Teej,
does that include the Don Mclean version??....I always liked that one, although I did hear Julio Engleisias ( don't know if I spelt that right?) that was quite pleasant, but that was back in the seventies. No, Don's the one for me.
Of course, you've ALL missed the most moving film of the last 18 months...it's got everything...nudity, a short comic interlude, betrayal, true love, sacrifice...I could go on.....but I wont......Sorry?..oh, the name of the film?.......SHREK!!!

Misti, thank you, glad you enjoyed Pinnoch.

Gutentag!
TJ...I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your take on the Lynch film. I have been out of town with work and haven't had time to scratch, let alone cruise the Blender. I understand many of your points - I am glad to know that I am not crazy (at least regarding that movie).
However, like most recent surges of anxiety - I am over the Mulholland Drive drama. I no longer remember WHY I was so confused! Ah, the perks of a long work week.I Fear For Myself ...Oh Teej, do I ever know that turmoil.

Tanq and BK, GOOD to see you posting.
Violet, Madi, Just Some Girl, & Stephen - where are you guys? I miss your thoughts
Hi, Rhet!

I'm here. I just don't have anything to say lately. Creative juices dry.

I watched Mulholland Drive the other night. Hmmm. Still milling it over, trying to determine what I think. My impression is that the story itself is actually very simple, but that Lynch has to throw in the weird shit for effect! I love that about him!

I also watched Donnie Darko. Now, THAT'S a film!!
I TOLD YOU! That damned bunny scared the shit outta me. Donnie Darko was amazing. That boy was so cute and so frightening at the same time.

My next 2 must see films are Iris and Correct Change (that local film) at the Festival.

If any Blenderites are passing through lil ole West Virginia next weekend, check out our film festival.
Hi Guys. I watched Mullholland Drive. It baffled me. I sat and pondered it for hours. I understand that all the stuff that happened before the box was her fantasy while she was "givin' herself a hand" but... I don't get the box really... other than it being a trasnition. The cowboy confuses me too. Is he God? Hmm... I liked it though. I really thought it was cool. I'll have to see it again and see if any new ideas come to me. Thanks everyone for making me want to see it so bad. Good day everyone! ;-) ~Vi

Since we're talking about movies, and Rhet, since your bo-friend loves Jennifer Tilly, you guys must see Dancing at the Blue Iguana. That movie was great!!
