I actually caught it on the radio. Interesting stuff.

I bet everyone will answer this question the same way. Of course touching and affection is important. Keeping the spark alive is keeping the relationship happy. I'd die if i wasn't constantly loved and petted and tickled and kissed. It makes me feel needed and special.

Teej,
I am no one to judge others habits, I to like to 'indulge in the grape,' so to speak. I dont know if you can get it over 't pond, but my favourite is 'HARDY'S' semillon chardonnay, a rather fine dry white wine that goes well with most meals or, indeed on its own. It's from Australia (not the nappa valley, although they produce one or two classics), if you can get it, enjoy.
I have to say that the merlot did it for me the other night. BookWalter 2001 merlot. I was surprised as, like Gala, I really enjoy a good Johannesburg Riesling. I find most cabernets to be oaky and that 'dryness' really gets to me after the third or fourth glass. BUT, Wordley, I will see if I can find 'HARDY'S' semillon chardonnay! I really do prefer the whites. Being a Canadian I have enjoyed the wines of BC. And in the last two years have been drinking Washington state wines. There are some amazing results with the these two wine country areas. Australia will be a new horizon seen through the crystal of a goblet!!

Thank's Kirk, The funny part, and we were talking about this today, is that I told him I would not take him seriously till he could get it on NPR..ha and of course that's exactly what happened without his even trying. Today I told him I would not take him seriously till he was on the cover of Time Magazine ha. I've uped the challenge.
Welcome jims_belle ~ The part I liked best about your poem was...
”Release the burden
Of your fears
My love for you
Will ease your load,
Come take my hand
And dry your tears”... very nice! Keep posting!
