I'm hoping it's gonna be short lived but I have a horrible feeling otherwise. Have been going through my old journals but can't find anything appropriate. Very frustrating!
B.K. I was the summer vacation baby...and let me tell you, living with all those Virgos could be a challenge. I never believed much in astrology until an old girlfriend introduced me to it and I could see the character traits of people I knew right there on paper. One brother actually falls over the edge into Libra, and some fo the differences are striking.

The stars more than work Spaceman. But there's the moon and your rising sign and mars and venus and jupiter and saturn and pluto and uranus. Ha Watch out for Uranus..haha (kidding) But a whole house full of Virgo's with you the opposite sign. Hope they were all sisters as brothers might have been a bit testy.

R.H. and Splatipus are in England Angie. By the way what signs are you all? Everyone tell us your signs. Wistful, Rhet, JustSomeGirl's an Aries I think (correct me if I'm wrong) Stephen, and KindredSpirit49 and His Little Fullback and Crystal and Max. Somedaysoon, musicalduck, Jennifer and erin, kendra, everyone forgive me I am doing this hurridly to got running to tag sales..ha

Jack's A Virgo with his moon out the window like me. S.C's a Virgo with a Gemini moon. Gala's got a big ole Scorpio Moon to go along with her Libra sun. Madison is a Capricorn but I would bet something Virgoian. Mistis got all that Virgo picking on her Aquarian nature. If I remember right Kev's got a Libra moon/Virgo sun. I love the stars!
SCQueen; I set up your chart a while back, did I not send it to you. Thought I did. Anyway I am wrong about Gala's moon (someone else that used to write here had a Scorpio moon) Ms Gala's is Aquarius. Yours is Gemini if my memory serves me correctly, cough, but I can't check it as it's all wrapped up in my old dead as a doorknob computer, darn it, with my whole program.
Hey peeps

Another gemini here, tho havent a clue about rising moons, setting suns and all that, maybe one of you experts could advise

Angieubaldo - welcome to (one of) the ethnic minorities, of me and wordley (and a few others, I think, seeing who messages in which time zone).Where abouts in the UK are you?

Jon - you should take Vish up on his Africa party offer, the place is awesome. My party there lasted 7 years and am just back in the UK for a while due to work commitments before I go back next year forever (hurrah!) (Vish - ndikubwera posichedwa). Imagine the ultimate in white beaches, palm trees, mountains, fabulous people etc etc. Cant explain how I feel about that place, try to in my poetry sometimes, but it is for me the home that the UK never was.

Oh, and if any of the minority are in London on Monday, my hubbies band are playing at a music festival in Kingston. its called Kingston Green fair, in Canbury Gardens. they are playing on the World Stage and they are called Chimanimani. It starts about 2pm. If anybody does fancy it, post a message and maybe we can arrange to meet up.

Bye for now. No doubt will be back later in slightly more bladdered mode (well it is Friday - promise not to get too silly tho Kirk and start a new Star Wars episode)
Something else to think about...they say that before Uranus was discovered, Aquarians like Abe Lincoln were ruled by Saturn so they were more like Capricorns. Uh...why did they have to discover Uranus for it to have an effect on people? That doesn't make much sense to me. An example: my daughter doesn't know that I exist but that doesn't negate the influence I've had on her life. I conceived my daughter, chose her adoptive parents and gave birth to her. When she finds out about me someday, that won't make me any more real. Maybe that's a faulty analogy. That's just something I've always pondered. I've studied astrology since junior high (actually, I checked out a book on the Libra sun sign when I was in third grade)and I've found it to be a valid, enlightening science. And Aquarian women are scorchin' hot. Sizzzzzle.;-)
Speakin' of hot...104 degrees in Albuquirky this afternoon.
Hey Gudkarma; It doesn't fit me either but I know a couple of Virgo's it fits to a T and as I said there are many other influences to consider to only go for the sun reading. Are you perhaps on a cusp Leo/Virgo (like my son) or Virgo/Libra. Then you would have to read both signs. Based on latitute and longitude of your birthplace/time etc. You are much more than your sun. If you were born at the full moon, then woe is you, ha, it means anything goes..hahaha. It picks you up tornado style and dumps you into something different just as you get comfy.(I think she did say something about maybe a change with all the planets lining up in the 10th house)

Rhet; Have heard that theory and the one where the world is spinning faster and faster out of axis as all the water is dammed up above the equator. Too bad we don't have some Phonecians still around they were really good at it and could tell us what we are..hahahah Michelangelo could tell us as well. Then there is the theory that men are always their sun signs and women are more like their moon signs as we are such emotional creatures which is always why I say that my moon is out the window. Misti will like this, the church decided that astrology was evil as they wanted control, (belief by faith not by the sun moon and planets that affect your life) the same way they decided that cats were from the devil and caused the Black Plague after outlawing them with fleas and rats taking over. It's a controversy with science as they can't make it exact but geeze how many scientist are exact.. It's mostly hit or miss as with everything else and I could go on but I won't. Kirk will be after me for raving lunacy..haha I have been looking at stars for a long time and I get scared at what I see sometimes and throw all my books away and then always come back and do it again. My little hobby for a long time now.
I think Mo is a Gemini, not sure. Hope that doesn't freak Kirk out...I remember birthdates really well. I'm always telling Chris,"Name a celebrity and I can tell you their sun sign." Spooky, huh? Yeah, when I was a senior in high school I attended this Christian school my last semester. I stupidly shared some astrological insights with some of the younger students (it was like "Little House on the Prairie," all these different ages in one school house! And I was the only senior!) and the principal of the school took it upon herself to come to my home and interrupt my MTV viewing to inform me that astrology is evil/one of Satan's many tools to ensnare unsuspecting victims. And she lectured us all in school about it and said her kids were born under the sign of the Cross. Hmmm.

I have two favorite astrologers. Linda Goodman and Michael Lutin. I highly recommend Lutin's Childhood Rising. It's a bit farfetched but funny and exceptionally well-written. Lutin brings up the point that it also matters when we were conceived...Aquarians are conceived during the Taurus cycle so Aquarians tend to see Taureans as parent figures or as "home." Also...we are shaped by our parents' sun signs.

There are so many layers to astrology, absolutely. It goes far beyond the sun, moon sign and ascendant. You have to take all aspects of the chart into consideration. When I first discovered that I have a Virgo moon I was shocked because I was certain it was Leo. I have always been the "show-off"/performer of my family. Well, as it turns out, I have Jupiter and Mars in the fifth house, which is the house of Leo. Which explains my love for karaoke bars and feather boas and red lipstick.

B.K. ~ I was born March 30th, 1970 at about 7am (I think). So that makes me an Aries. I don't know much about the stars, but my having Mars as the God of War seems to fit. I think I'm an Iron Dog in the Chinese Zodiac. Maybe one day I'll find out more about these things. I do believe that we are connected to everything and so some influence from astral objects would be there for us. I don't believe that reading a horoscope every morning to figure out my day makes any sense, but there's definitely SOMETHING in the stars that applies to each of us.
