Thanks Cptn Kirk, It Be Nifty! its almost perfect. All it needs is a link back to the home page from our accounts
(back button on browser doesn't work, and yes i'm too lazy just to cut down the url to the main page) Glad it was easy to do, I didn't wanna make you more busy than you already are.
Dee ~ I've been an aunt for 15 months now, and there is nothing even close. I love my nephew so much, my Dad had to remind me in the beginning that he wasn't 'mine'. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

My nephew was the first baby I had ever been around for any length of time and he was just GOLDEN. It was the best feeling in the world being an Aunt Sissy for the first time.
Thank you all for the kind words. Chris brought me a print-out of Blender comments my second day in the hospital. That made me feel a lot better. I was discharged at 10:30 this morning. They've got me on Wellbutrin and Zyprexa. Writing poems and a short story got me through, as always. I met several people who have it a lot worse than I do. It's true...hospitals are not for the lovesick.

much gratitude,
This one goes out to Jon and TJ Holland. You two should keep on writing those "short stories" they are awesome. Jon, I loved the titled "Would have been." That one was great. Keep up the brilliant work.

Thank you Jon and Bridget O. In my previous comment I wrote that I agree with frozencharlotte regarding "hospitals are not for the lovesick." It's really not as simple as that. The fact of the matter is, I've been struggling with depression since puberty and I hadn't been taking my medication. When I was at the hospital I noticed they had a slot for Love & Sex Anonymous brochures. I would have taken one but there weren't any left. I think a lot of people are in love with the thrill of the chase. That's one of the reasons why the U.S. has the highest divorce rate in the world. This is not to negate the feelings I had...not that I'm proud of them, but they were valid feelings. Maybe the infatuation was a manifestation of my mental illness, who knows. Anyway, I went to Goodwill tonight with Chris and bought Lou Reed's "New York" cassette and a t-shirt emblazoned with kittens playing BINGO. And at the used bookstore I bought Chocolate Hippies' "Concrete Flower" cd. I'm feelin' very life-affirmative right now. I'm gonna try the 55 word story thing now.

(I could write a lot more but I think this is sufficient.)
(and my husband is an unsung hero, btw...)

Misti ~ Glad you're back. Hope you get a grasp on the gremlins. Stay tight with Chris. He seems to have what you need. (even if sometimes you don't realize or remember that.)

Muryan ~ Thanks for the kudos on the 55 word stories. they're fun!

Stephen ~ Didn't say "an UNINHABITATED, UNDEVELOPED tropical island. Didn't say I was STICKING with the handsome man! Ha!! The money is for the morning after...when I sneak away and go back to my life!
You are right. Did you ever have a Speak'N'Spell when you were a kid? If you spelled a word correctly it would say,"You are right" in a robotic monotone. Then it would say,"Now spell bureau." That's the one word I remember spelling on that thing 'cause it was so hard. Anyway, thank you. The 55 word thing is addictive. Yeah, Sting was surprised when he learned that "Every Breath You Take" was a big hit at weddings in the '80s. He was being ironic! I always liked "Wrapped Around Your Finger" better.

Hey blender people! It's been awhile since I've been around...I've really missed this place! I've been reading a lot of great work and to comment on each and every one of them would take me all night and too much room on the board! So, congrats to all and thanks for the great reading!

Goodnight and Long-time-no-see...perhaps my returning will inspire me to start writing once again!
Great job on the author search thing, I thought about it once before too but I also thought you did a lot for this site and was afraid of asking for too much, 'specially for a newcomer! Sure glad Stephen mentioned it, but even more so for you doing it! It works great!
