Please excuse my latest submission. It's not about "romantic" love but about a love that will exist in me after all other passes.
I am so very homesick tonight. I miss my small little town with all of its idiosyncrasies.
I suppose I will always be that little Southern girl.
Hope you all had a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! I have thoroughly enjoyed this month's blender and most of what I've read on the new submissions.

"Home" is hauntingly beautiful. I'm from the south, and you sent chills down my back with this one. Your descriptions describe what summers were like as a child, and I hope I can raise my little one in the same sweet simplicity. Amazing.
